Learn Japanese

Welcome to my blog.  I am currently a college student from Philadelphia studying abroad in Tokyo.  Since my decision to study abroad was at the last minute and had nothing to do with my major, I had no chance to take any formal classes in the language.  I had just a little under a year to teach myself how to read, write, speak and listen to Japanese by only using the internet and books I could buy online.  I learned a lot of other stuff about Japan in the process too. 

In this blog I hope to share what I have found out about how to learn Japanese quickly and without formal instruction, as well as what I have learned about Japan and some of the experiences I will have here.  Thanks for reading my blog and please if you have any questions leave me a comment.
